The worship band at Trinity United Methodist Church in Mullica Hill was voted favorite church worship band in our 2011 Favorites poll.

Located in Alloway, Salem County, Ranch Hope pursues their mission with Christian love and compassion, providing learning environments for individuals whose needs can best be met through experiences outside their home.

Tenth Avenue North’s concert at Delanco Camp in August was voted favorite South Jersey Christian concert of 2011.

Memorial Presbyterian Church in Wenonah will be hosting a dinner and the movie Soul Surfer on Saturday, Feb. 4, beginning at 6 p.m.

West Park United Methodist Church invites the community to join their Pasta Bowl team at an all-you-can-eat dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4.

The dinner will be held at the church, 625 Shiloh Pike, and proceeds will benefit the Harold Woodruff Memorial Scholarship College Book Fund.

Dinner includes unlimited pasta, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, beverage and dessert. Adult tickets are $8; tickets for children ages 3 to 12 are $5, and children under 3 eat for free.

Tickets are available until Tuesday, Jan. 31, from the West Park United Methodist Church office, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. After office hours, tickets can be reserved and arrangements can be made for pick up by contacting Ken Blizzard at (856) 451-2948 or Sam Elwell at (856) 455-3628.

On the fourth Saturday of each month, at 7 p.m., DeBows UMC in Jackson hosts a Coffee House with Open Mic.

Along with our own praise band, visiting bands and soloists, we always welcome volunteers to perform during the Open MIC time. We especially would like to encouraged children and youth to participate.
