Sharptown Church and the Family Enrichment Network of Salem County, will hold a community-wide event, which will include inflatable attractions, games, music and activities.

The event is open to all Salem County families and there is no cost.

Representatives will offer information on various summer camps and activities planned throughout Salem County for children this summer.

WXGN Music Fest 2012 is happening at Word of Life Christian Fellowship in Absecon Highlands on Saturday, May 26, from 1:30 to 11:30 p.m. with headliners Reilly.

Crossroads hopes to raise 100 boxes of nonperishable foods, personal hygiene items, and clothing items to help aid the homeless during the demonstration, which begins at 4 p.m. on May 26. The items collected will be distributed between Sister Jean Webster’s Kitchen and the Atlantic City Rescue Mission.

Items needed for donation include: socks, underwear, toiletries, gently used clothing, bottled water, hats, Chapstick, toothpaste/tooth brush, crackers, granola bars, nuts, mouthwash, tote bags, sunscreen, foot powder and deodorant.

Spend a Sunday afternoon on May 20 from 3-6 p.m. getting acquainted with Delanco Camp and what they have to offer this summer.

They’ll be offering guided tours of the grounds, an information table for each of their week-long camps, games for kids, worship, a devotional and a drawing for a free week of camp. You will also be able to register for camp and get a $20 discount.

There will be food, drinks, and camp merchandise for sale.

Youth groups big and small are invited to join us for some friendly youth group game competition at Delanco Camp in Tabernacle on Sunday, May 20, from 3 to 6 p.m. The youth group that wins the challenge will receive the golden gnome and a free weekend group rental.

Cost is $50/team of 10-20 youth & leaders.

There will be food & drinks for sale.

Chestnut Assembly of God in Vineland is hosting Paul Wilbur’s Stand By Israel Conference Aug. 24-26. The conference begins on Friday with a Shabbat Service at 7 p.m. and continues Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday with worship at 10:30 a.m.

The registration for the conference is $25. There is a discounted price of $15 for pastors, worship leaders and groups of 10 or more. Registration can be done directly from the Church website at www.chestnutag.org.  There will also be a night of worship Saturday Evening.

The City Harmonic will be at Gloucester County Community Church on Sunday, Aug. 5, at 6:30 p.m.

Brian “Head” Welch, former guitarist of the band Korn, will be playing live at Bayside Chapel in Barnegat on Saturday, June 9.
