The favorite blog for this year is one, in the interest of full disclosure, I have to acknowledge is a little awkward for me to announce. I’m the editor of this site and I’m also the editor of the Delanco Camp Blog, which was voted Favorite South Jersey Christian Blog for 2011.

South Jersey Christian Events actually started as a spin-off of the Delanco Camp Blog in 2009 because I wanted to have a space to promote more than just the occasional events of the camp.

I encourage you to check out the other blogs that were nominated – Missional In Suburbia, True North Blog, Making A Different with Pastor Phil Erickson and Jesse Gruber – and bookmark them or suscribe to their RSS Feed.

First Love Festival, a musica festival held in Buena for the for the first time in September 2011, was voted Favorite Festival of 2011 in our South Jersey Christian Reader Favorites poll.

Congratulations for a job well done by the First Love Festival team who became a reader favorite after only one festival. Props go out to our other nominees as well, which included A Closer Walk in Wildwood, Praise in the Park at the Cape May County Park & Zoo, South Jersey Praise Fest at Central UMC and Ocean City Beachfest in Ocean City.

Re:define, a worship service at New Covenant Community Church in Somers Point that targets 20-30-year-olds, was voted favorite Young Adult Ministry in South Jersey for 2011.
